When the team from WestEd stopped by on behalf of the California Department of Education, Deputy Director Andrew Crowe couldn’t wait to share how the California Community Schools Partnership Program grant has benefited our students and programs!

As one of 20 schools in California to receive this grant and the only school or district in Orange County, Scholarship Prep has put the CCSPP funds to immediate use by:

-Offering a summer school program
-Supplementing our homeless and foster youth support services
-Hiring additional staff, including a health technician and classroom aides
-Developing additional community partnerships

This grant has directly impacted our goals of integrated support services, trusting and collaborative family relationships, and sustainability. As students' lives are transformed, and support services improve the well-being of families, we create community change!
