South Bay Staff Steps Up to Serve During Wildfire Campus Closure

Along with neighboring Los Angeles Unified School District schools, Scholarship Prep’s South Bay campus paused classes for two days in response to hazardous conditions of wind and smoke affecting the community from the Pacific Palisades and Eaton fires.

However, a campus closure didn’t stop many Scholarship Prep South Bay staff members from showing up to serve students and families! Early morning grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches were prepared alongside our Revolution Foods school meal partners. These free meals were distributed drive-through style, ensuring that even when challenging circumstances arise, our students have the nutrition they need to thrive!

We are incredibly proud of our South Bay staff for showing authentic leadership and love through this time, and our hearts are with those deeply impacted by last month’s devastating wildfires.
