From Clear Vision to Classroom Confidence: Vision To Learn and DIFF Eyewear Partnership Supports Student Success

At Scholarship Prep, setting our students up for success means addressing their needs both inside and outside the classroom. That’s why we were thrilled to welcome our community partners, Vision To Learn and DIFF Eyewear, back to our campuses, bringing essential vision care to all students!

Seeing Success Across Southern California

Following an earlier visit to Scholarship Prep South Bay, Vision To Learn’s mobile optometry clinic traveled to campuses in Santa Ana (Orange County), Upland (San Bernardino County), Riverside (Riverside County), and Oceanside (San Diego County) to provide free vision screenings and exams during the school day.

In all, more than 500 Scholars received free eye exams from Vision to Learn’s skilled optometrists, and 325 students are wearing free prescription glasses thanks to the generosity of DIFF Eyewear.

A Celebration of Clear Sight

DIFF Eyewear hosted a special Glasses Ceremony at our Oceanside campus to celebrate each student’s new eyewear. Here, students tried on their glasses for the first time while classmates cheered.

In addition, all Scholarship Prep Oceanside students and staff received a pair of blue light blocking glasses to promote healthy vision while using digital devices both in school and at home.

A Mission That Aligns with Opportunity

Vision To Learn and DIFF Eyewear share a mission: to ensure every child, in every school, everywhere in the country has the glasses they need to succeed in school and life.

That mission reflects Scholarship Prep’s own goal to provide every Scholar with access to the tools and opportunities that help them reach their college-bound dreams.

Looking Ahead

With this partnership, Scholars across our campuses are seeing their studies and their futures with greater clarity and confidence.
