A New Year Begins Across Scholarship Prep's Five Campuses

A New Year Begins Across Scholarship Prep's Five Campuses

This year, Scholarship Prep is 2,300 Scholars strong across five campuses in five counties, serving families in the cities of Upland, Riverside, Santa Ana, Oceanside and Wilmington, California. Every Scholar began the year the same way: with a Meet Your Teacher event and a first week designed to help them feel welcomed, supported, and known from day one.

Meet Your Teacher

Across all five campuses, families had the chance to meet their Scholar’s teacher face-to-face before the first day of school. This annual event has a meaningful impact: parents and guardians leave knowing who their Scholar’s teacher is, how to sign up for classroom communications, and what supports and services are available throughout the year, from meals and school supplies to after-school care and beyond. It is one of the ways we make sure every family starts the year knowing exactly who to turn to. Every Scholar also began the year with free dress code items.

First Week of School

Then came the first week of school. From the coastlines to the inland valleys, our campuses filled with new and returning Scholars ready to learn. Classrooms hummed as instruction began, playgrounds filled with new friendships, and families walked their Scholars into a growing community, with many stepping onto school grounds for the very first time.

Growth has been a defining part of this year across our network, but it has not slowed what matters most: every Scholar, at every campus, starting the year feeling known, supported, and ready.

Welcome to all our new and returning Scholarship Prep families. We are so glad you are here, and we are excited for the year ahead.
